Super Month Nets Lopez #1 Batter Prize in CAA Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 Jorge Lopez, the Omaha right fielder, certainly made a name for himself this past month. He banged out a .396 batting average with 40 hits, 10 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 23 times. That kind of hitting earned him the CBD Double A Batter of the Month honors for July. This year, Lopez has batted at a .373 pace with 121 hits, 26 home runs, 61 RBIs and scored 65 times. |
