August's Best CAA Hitter is Paul Borns Tuesday, September 1st , 2048 Grand Rapids Whitecaps fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in August. Paul Borns put up a remarkable month at the age of 22 and has been named the CBD Double A Batter of the Month. For the month, Borns hit .312 with 8 home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored.
