CBD Double A Announces July's Top Pitcher Monday, August 1st , 2050 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Alex Harper, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Baltimore Jaspers reliever, 23, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .194 average and walked away with the CBD Double A Pitcher of the Month award for July. Harper posted a 4-0 mark and a 1.77 ERA in no relief appearances. In 35.2 innings, he had no saves, 30 strikeouts, and 11 walks. To this point in the season he has had no saves. Harper has made no relief appearances, tossed 139.1 innings and struck out 110 with a record of 13 wins and 4 losses. |
