Gonzalez Cracks 5 Hits

Javy Gonzalez did more than his part as the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes topped the Sarasota Supernovas, 9-4, at Ballpark of Tulsa. The Volcanoes center fielder pounded out 5 hits to pace his team. Javy Gonzalez singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Frank Moffitt in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.
Gonzalez is batting .315 this year with 9 home runs, 33 RBIs and 45 runs scored. He has 100 hits in 317 at-bats.
