No Playoff Berth Coming for Traverse City Friday, August 23rd , 2052 It's back to the drawing board for the Traverse City Cherries. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Cherries have missed the playoffs 28 times in their 35 years as a CBD Single A+ franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2050. In the last 10 seasons, the Cherries have only made the playoffs once. |
