Lagunas Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Thursday, May 21st , 2048 Alex Lagunas of the Arlington Trappers tagged 2 hits in today's 8-7 loss to the Concord Blue Devils at Trappers Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Alex Lagunas hit a two-run home run off Joe Johnson in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, walked in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Currently Lagunas is batting .328 with 4 home runs and 14 RBIs. |
