Hernandez Slugs 4 HR Against Abes

Kyle Hernandez victimized Lincolnville Abes hurlers today, smashing 4 home runs in a herculean effort that will go down in the CBD Single A record books.
In an epic hitting spree at Orange Kings Ballpark, the Houston second baseman went downtown again and again, leading the Orange Kings to a 12-4 triumph. He went 4-for-5, drove in 5 runs and scored 4 times in the historic game.
"The first ones just happened," he said later, discussing the game. "However, that last time, I was swinging for the fences -- and WHAM -- I nailed it."
Kyle Hernandez hit a solo-shot off Jeff Lovejoy in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jeff Lovejoy in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Sergio Lopez in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Brad Case in the 8th.
So far this season Hernandez is hitting .281 with 9 home runs.
