Sultan of Swing: Lee Goes Deep 3 Times Thursday, May 30th , 2047 Greg Lee went on an explosive hitting spree against the Concord Blue Devils at Jacks Ballpark, launching a trio of blasts to help the Monterrey Jacks win, 4-3. The first baseman finished 3-for-3 with 3 runs scored and 3 runs batted in. "It was just one of those days," Lee said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Concord skipper Ken Vowinkel said Lee was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Greg Lee walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Armando Vega in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Aidan Findlay in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Danny Delgado in the 8th. This season, Lee has hit at a .298 clip with 11 RBIs, 6 home runs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 17 games. |
