Oates's Season Could be Over Sunday, June 2nd , 2047 The season is ending on a bad note for Luke Oates, closer for the Traverse City Cherries. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Oates was hurt against the Concord Blue Devils while throwing a pitch. He suffered shoulder inflammation and will be out for at least 6-7 months. For the year, Oates has 16 saves in 24 relief appearances with a 1-1 mark and 1.98 ERA. |
