Morales Perfect Against Charleston Tuesday, June 4th , 2047 In front of thousands of fans at Lincoln Field, Manny Morales pitched what will surely be the best game of his career, likely the best of the 2047 CBD Single A season, and perhaps the best game for years to come. Morales was flawless for the Lincolnville Abes, throwing a perfect game against the Charleston Chews. "I knew when I took the mound today that I felt good," Morales said to reporters after the game. "I had no idea that I felt that good." Morales struck out 6, allowed no hits, surrendered no walks and allowed no baserunners of any kind en route to the 2-0 Abes victory. He retired 27 batters in a row. For the season, Morales has compiled a 1-2 record with a 2.70 ERA. View Boxscore |
