Great Lakes Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, August 1st , 2041 There are many adjectives that can be used to describe the Great Lakes Loons this season. Few of them are positive. And as of today, the Loons can add another descriptor -- officially eliminated from the playoffs. Great Lakes last appeared in the postseason in 2036. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 14 times in their 24 - year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Loons have missed the playoffs 5 times. Great Lakes last won the Round 3 in 2024. |
