Loons Martin Gone for Year Thursday, August 29th , 2041 The Great Lakes Loons were dealt a blow today when closer Alan Martin left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Martin has suffered a stretched elbow ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. Martin has made 14 games so far this year with 4 saves. In 18 innings he has dished out 15 strikeouts and walked 13 with a 2-1 mark and a 10.00 ERA. |
