The 21-year-old right fielder was dubbed the CBD Single A+ Player of the Week for a 7-game tear that saw him hit at a .500 clip. For the week he also chalked up 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year, Montes is hitting .291 with 11 home runs and 25 RBIs in 66 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .356 with 21 walks and 37 runs scored. |
