Gomez on Fire: 5-for-6 for Killarney Saturday, July 3rd , 2049 Jose Gomez was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 17-9, over the Dingos. The Killarney center fielder was a tough out and went 5-for-6 against Baxter in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Jose Gomez doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Ony Kachinsky in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
