Call at His Best, Blanks Concord Wednesday, August 11th , 2049 Killarney Lakes starter Cole Call really did a number on the Concord Blue Devils, shutting them out, 6-0, on 4 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 7 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Concord manager C.J. Benevides. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Call."
