Rowdy Players Suspended by League Thursday, July 21st , 2050 Oscar Martinez of Acadia and Brassal Bailey of Concord were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Martinez will have to miss 5 games for his part in the brawl, while Bailey was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. Martinez is hitting at a .186 mark this season. His stats show 2 home runs, 16 RBIs and 21 runs scored. He has played 66 games for the Peregrines. This year, Bailey has fanned 70 in 109.1 innings and collected a 6-5 record with a 4.28 ERA. |
