Lee Goes 5-for-5 Against Rhome
Saturday, April 25th , 2048
After his 5-hit effort at Banner Island Ballpark was tarnished by Can Tho's 10-9 loss to the Rhome Rhavioli, center fielder Zak Lee told BNN beat writers it was "a missed opportunity for a special day."
"It really doesn't matter whether it's sandlot ball, high school or college, two hits in a game is nice," he said. "I would have been happy to stop there if it meant we got a win."
He didn't get the win, but the 20-year-old had a spectacular 5-for-5 game against the Rhavioli.
"His swing is getting there," said Cobras skipper Esteve Varanda after the game. "We want him to be quick with his swing, short and compact. We want him to be patient and go the other way when he can. Zak did that to perfection and we wasted it."
Zak Lee singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
