Griffin Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Tuesday, June 21st , 2050 The Rhome Rhavioli stopped the Jacksonville Alligators, 9-8, and Eric Griffin collected a base hit yet again. The Rhome center fielder finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Griffin told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Eric Griffin grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd and singled in the 5th.
