Shipley on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Rhome Monday, September 14th , 2048 5 times is the charm -- at least for Jeremy Shipley. The Melbourne Aces first baseman tore up the Rhome Rhavioli to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Banner Island Ballpark. The offensive onslaught from Shipley powered the 16-10 Aces win. "Shipley was a tough out," Rhome manager Danny Curtis said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."
