Mouser Keeps Hit Streak Alive Sunday, July 31st , 2050 Nick Mouser continued his streak at Banner Island Ballpark, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Rhome catcher was 1-for-4 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Rhavioli were not as fortunate, losing, 9-4, to the Oklahoma City Hooks. "Mouser was hitting everything we threw at him," said Oklahoma City manager Jason Bazik. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Nick Mouser grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. Mouser is hitting .470 for the season with 4 home runs, 26 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 39 hits in 83 at-bats and played in 21 games. |
